Yud Tes Kislev - The New Year for Chassidus
Next Thursday evening, November 21, is the Chassidic Holiday of "Yud Tes Kislev", the "New Year" of Chassidism. A special program and farbrengen will be held at that day at 7:30pm with guest speaker, Rabbi Mendel Dubrawsky, Director of Chabad of Dallas at Lubavitch Center. Click here for more information. The new season of Rosh Chodesh Society with Rochel is off to a great start! It is not too late to join, as each class covers a new topic. The next meeting will be on Chanukah, December 4, 10:30am - 12:00pm.
Textbook fee: $15 Reserve here.

Jewish Learning Institute's "Life in the Balance" course will meet four more Wednesdays at 7:30-9:00pm.
The next class is "Sanctity in Death"
Would Jewish law allow one to voluntarily donate his or her body to science? This lesson will examine how Jewish law balances the dignity of the dead with the needs of society.

Jewish Learning Institute - Life in the Balance
The new JLI course is off to a great start! It is not too late to join. The topic of this week's class - Prolonging Life vs. Prolonging Death - When do we apply all that medicine have to offer and when is it time to let nature take its course. This is a topic that almost all of us have dealt with and will give us insight as to the Torah's values on this important subject. Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 PM. Click here to register.
