Chabad House Happenings

Pedi-Sukkah
Did you see the Pedi-Sukkah this past week? If you were in Rice University or in the Texas Medical Center, you couldn't miss it! Many people got a chance to make a blessing on the Lulav and Esrog and make a blessing in the Sukkah!

Thank you to Peretz Lazaroff for making all the arrangements and for riding the sukkah all over with Peretz Goldshmid, Alex Dinur, Menachem Lazaroff, Sholom Lazaroff, Peretz Hildeshaim and Ruvi Silberstein!  

Simchas Torah is here!
Come to Chabad House for some "warm up" dancing and solidarity with Israel's Simchas Torah tonight! Services begin at 7:00 pm.

And then...SIMCHAS TORAH! Bring your dancing shoes and let's dance with the Torah!! Tomorrow night, beginning at 7:00 until..... 

Shemini Atzeret/Simchas Torah Schedule
Shemini Atzeret Eve: Wednesday, September 25, 7:00 pm
Mincha - Maariv, Kiddush in the Sukkah, and Hakafot.

Shemini Atzeret: Thursday, September 26, 10:00am
Morning services with Yizkor and the special prayer for rain in the Holy Land of Israel.

Simchas Torah: Thursday, September 26, 7:00pm
Services followed by Kiddush and Simcas Torah dancing! Kiddush sponsored by Mauricio and Clara Gross and Family.

Simchas Torah : Friday, September 27, 9:30am-1:30pm
Morning service with Hakafot, Torah reading concluding the Torah and beginning the new cycle.

Friday Night
Services at 7:00PM

Shabbos Day
Shacharis 10:00 AM followed by Kiddush lunch.

Shabbos Afternoon
Talmud Class: 6:00pm, Mincha: 6:45pm followed by class on Laws of Shabbos, Maariv and Havdala

Community walk to Hermann Park for Tashlich.
