GREAT DEBATES IN JEWISH HISTORY
New 6 week JLI course. It is not too late to join! Wednesdays 7:30-9:00 PM

Join us as we relive the EPIC debates of our past. We will learn almost the entire story of Jewish history through the lense of its debates. How does that sound?
Would you be pro-establishment like the Pharisees or anti-establishment like the sect who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls?
Would you believe Judaism is a nationality like those who took their lives on Masada? Or would you side with the moderates who settled to survive as a religion under Roman rule?
Which side would you be on in the debate about Maimonides' books?
Where would you stand on the raging debates at the time of the expulsion of Jews from Spain?
If you were in Eastern Europe in the 1700s, would you side with the followers of the Baal Shem Tov or  their opponents?
Today, where do you stand on the issue of separation of church and state? Should religion be kept private or in the public domain?
Come learn about these epic debates and find out which side you are on!
