Shul News

Chabad House Happenings

Dear Friends,

As the Covid cases continue to spread across Houston and Harris County, we have made the difficult, but necessary decision to suspend shul once more in the interest of protecting the vulnerable population at Aishel House and those of our congregation who are over 65.

We hope you enjoyed the online resources and links that we sent you earlier this week so you can have an uplifting day of Gimmel Tammuz.

Looking forward to the day when the virus is no longer a threat and when can resume our normal activities.

Until then,

Gut Shabbos!

We're back!

 Dear Friends,

What a few months these have been! In just a few months, so much of what we took for granted has changed. With all the societal upheaval it seems like the fabric of America is fraying at the seams.

The Rebbe, whose yahrtzeit is this week Thursday on Gimmel Tammuz taught us how to find the positive in everything that occurs in the world around us. I am certain that if we connect with the Rebbe's teachings found in the links of today's email, we can find the strength to weather any storm including the current events.

Here at Aishel House patients and their families are being cared for with the appropiate safety procedures in place. For the past month we have also resurmed twice daily services in shul with face masks. You are welcome to join us anytime!

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
